clients. We believe that our goal is to ensure that each and every client
feels that their financial and taxation needs are being met with
professionalism, diligence and concern for their well being. Successful

Gregory Buck CA - Partner

Greg has practiced in Abbotsford for the last 26 years,
firstly as a sole practitioner, then joining a local firm for 8 years before returningtothe current team. Greg has practiced extensively in the areas of
accounting and business advisory for privately held businesses. His practice
continues to focus on providing corporate and personal income tax planning,
promotion of entrepreneurial services and general finance. He conducts his
practice by building close relationships with his client in order to assist them
in successfully running their enterprises.
Greg is a graduate of the University of Saskatchewan
(Bachelor of Commerce) and received his Chartered Accountant’s designation in
1976. He was a part-time instructor at UCFV for 17 years where he continued his
interest in education. He continues that interest taking current professional
development courses and assisting CA and CGA students. He has a keen interest
in accounting and business software and has authored two text books on that
topic.
During his years in business,
Greg has served the community as President of the Abbotsford Airshow, an Airshow director and officer
for 12 years, Secretary of the Chamber of Commerce, participant in Operation
Rednose, and a lifelong supporter of Duck’s Unlimited. In community work, he
is proudest of his 20 years as a Rotarian and the tremendous local, national and
international work carried on by the organization.
Carla Cadieux - Associate

Carla has been in public practice in the Abbotsford
area for over 10 years. As a Senior Manager, she specializes in owner/managed
businesses. She provides assurance, business advisory and taxation advice for
many of our clients. She also provides support for electronic
accounting packages such as Quick Books, Simply Accounting and Microsoft Excel. Carla
takes pride in providing quality services to our varied clients
Carla is in the final year of the Certified General Accountants program. When not studying or working, she enjoys spending time with
her daughter, riding horses and travelling internationally.
Carla joined our team in April of 2004. Her up-beat
personality gives life to the office.
Hanna Barton CGA - Associate

Hanna is the principal of Hanna Barton & Company Ltd.,
Certified General Accountant. Her focus is owner-managed entrepreneurial
businesses. This includes businesses involved in agriculture, construction, retail, professional and
business services , import/export and other service industries. She also
works extensively with not-for-profit organizations.
Hanna started her own public practice accounting firm
in September 2006. She began her career in 1981 with Edmondson Roper. Prior
to her public practice she worked as a manager in Assurance Services with Meyers
Norris Penny Chartered Accountants. She received her CGA designation in 1987 and her
Diploma of Technology (Accounting Option) in 1981.
A long-time resident of Abbotsford, Hanna enjoys
traveling, walking, camping and spending time with her teenage children. She
also gives back to the community through her volunteer work on the boards of
PacificSport – Fraser Valley and Abbotsford Spirit of BC Community as their
treasurer
Shirley Franklin - Administration

As
office manager, Shirley's main role is to make our clients
feel at home in our office. She is the first contact between the client and
our advisors. She enjoys meeting people and her warm and friendly demeanour is
noted by our visitors. She keeps us up to date with electronic developments, prepares
all outgoing documents and supervises all correspondence with Canada Revenue
Agency.
Shirley was added to our group in October of 2004 after
having served as office manager for a local real estate office in Langley for 10
years. When not toiling in our administration area, she enjoys her farm, her adult
children and her various horses, donkeys, and Labradors. She can be found early
in the morning
enjoying nature with her animals.
Barb Birt - Client Services

Barb has been employed as a controller in private industry in
Abbotsford for the past 20 years. She has recently joined our
team in client services, specializing in client accounting, year
ends and taxation. Barb is a member of the Certified
Management Accountants Society of British Columbia and holds an
Associate Accounting Technologists Certificate (ATT). She has
also had extensive experience in accounting software
installation and operation.
In her spare time, Barb can be found
plying her new found summer pasttime on the golf course (which has
presented many challenges) or skipping her team to victory at the
Abbotsford Curling Club (not to mention the "bonspieling" that the
Abbotsford Ladies are famous
for).
